Mert & Kadir · Built & Kept Alive
Two senior builders.
Software that keeps working.
Two people. 25+ years. You contract with both of us, and both of us are who build, ship, and keep your software alive. No subcontractors. No rotating teams. No handoff.
You don’t hand us tickets. You hand us a goal, and we take it from zero to shipped ourselves: product, engineering, the decisions, the code. Fast, because that’s what we’re for.
Most shops sell you senior names, then staff the work with juniors you never meet. We’re the opposite. And because there are two of us, someone always knows your system.
The rhythm
Same as working with one of us: a fixed daily check-in each weekday (in your timezone — we adapt to it) and one weekly call. Scheduled, not a pager. What changes isn’t when we’re available. It’s who’s behind the work: two seniors, not one.
Two on every hard call
Architecture, build-vs-buy, the scary migration — decided by two senior people who both know your system, not one person guessing alone.
No single point of failure
Knowledge lives in two heads. One of us is out, the work keeps moving and nothing walks out the door.
More range
Two senior skill sets cover more ground than any one person: product, infrastructure, data — whatever your stack needs.
We don’t just advise, and we don’t just code. We take responsibility for the software becoming real, and staying real.

Why two of us beats one full-timer
A single hire is one point of failure. Sick, on holiday, or quits — and your product knowledge walks out the door.
Two of us means someone always knows your system. Two senior brains on the hard calls. Product and engineering, owned end to end. Work that doesn’t stall when one person is away. And none of the cost of two salaries, two sets of benefits, or the gap when someone leaves.
“It has to work on Monday, and still work next year. That’s the whole point.”
Terms
- Billing
- Flat monthly, billed in advance. One-month minimum, then month-to-month. Either side ends it with 15 days’ notice before the next cycle.
- Focus
- Build means one priority at a time — that’s the feature, not a limit. Reprioritize whenever you want; you set the order.
- Communication
- Outside the weekly call, everything’s in writing: Slack, email, comments on the work. Scheduled, not on-call.
- Incidents
- A live-product problem jumps the queue and gets handled the same business day, not stuck waiting on one person. A formal 24/7 guarantee is a separate arrangement.
